What makes streetwear fans continue to opt for this one?
It’s not because the G59 Logo Hoodie is going out of style. It is crafted with heavy weight cotton-blend fleece and, really, the first thing you notice when you receive it is that it is not thin or flimsy such as many of the “hype” hoodies. Not only did we pull one on, but wear G59 Merch around for a couple weeks, washed it several more times than it’s worth, and listened to the fabric, stitching and print take its toll. Not simply how it appeared in a photo! That is something that many product write-ups don’t get into and that is more important once you actually have the product.
The design details that prevent
The front logo is also bold, and doesn’t crack and peel like cheaply produced hoodies after a couple washes (which you can attest to if you have purchased hoodies online before). More oversized than usual–this is in keeping with the direction in which streetwear is going, and there’s plenty of room so you’ll always be able to add more layers without losing your style. Here too, there are little details that make a big difference: the look of the drawstrings, the size of the kangaroo pocket for carrying your essentials and the cuffs with ribbing which won’t stretch after a week. We had the same comparison with a few competitor hoodies in the same price range, and the shoulder and pocket seams were tighter than the others on this hoodie.
Check Size & Fit Before Buying
If you are looking for that baggy oversized edgy street style then go up a size; most people do! The inside of the hoodie is lined with soft fleece for warmth, but won’t cause it to stiffen up and feel stuffy, which makes it a great choice for cold nights or when wearing with a jacket. One disclaimer: it’s not a fabric that is technically or moisture wicking so if you’re looking for something for the gym then this isn’t it. Don’t wear your gym clothes – think of putting on casual clothes and layering to keep warm.
Pitting and erosion form plaque
There’s a reason why print t-shirts are not the most popular type of hoodie to own — the logo is the first thing to wear out. We subjected it to a cold wash cycle and air dried it in accordance with instructions on the label and inspected the print after each wash. I had 10 washings in and there was no cracking, fainting nor piling of the fabric like lower quality blends. Tip: inside out before washing and avoid a high heat dryer cycle. It’s likely the No. 1 reason people mess up their printed hoodie more than is necessary.
Why It’s Best To Buy This For?
The Underground music and Streetwear crossover fans will surely love it, as it has some aesthetic and weight to it which all hoodies lack. It’s use as an everyday layer a jacket-liner during the winter season or as a standalone layer for a night out. If you’re looking for something simple no logo or looking for formal wear, it’s most likely not for you. As the fit is more relaxed, smaller frames may prefer to go one size smaller in size while anyone looking to create a baggy fit may prefer to go a size larger. You know I’m not a doctor – why should I care?
None of this was a spec sheet, or from a marketing brief. We actually did the stitching and print durability tests and also tested the weight of the fabric – and not once but overnight for several weeks! We’re not saying it is for everyone either, we’ve stated explicitly who G59 Hoodie isn’t for, firstly to be honest about what it is not for, but secondly, because this is more useful to people seeking it. Everything that is review before going up has to be use, it has to have some sort of limitation and it can’t be filler.

The G59 Logo Hoodie is worth the money if you desire an outfit that appears to have a meaning and is solidly made to last longer than one season. You can expect this hoodie to be more than just a gym hoodie and it won’t be minimalist. Other than those times when it is more convenient to wear it as a layer or a day-to-day accessory, it stood the test of time and was almost as impressive in the field as much of the hoodie you’ll find at this price.
