How it started – family affair
From music to merch. G59 Records began as a platform for dark, trap and punk-infused rap music from Ruby da Cherry and $crim. Their name pays homage to “Grey 59”, a celebration of the balanced in between good and bad, light and dark. Musically they tackle drug-addiction, mental-illness and recovery; these are also the themes of their merchandise. Their hoodies, t-shirts and hats are a testament to how they went from underground icons to global superstars, with G59 Merch telling a story of a bands’ rise.
